My journey into massage therapy began in 2017.
I was a regular client at the Glasgow Treatment Rooms, going for monthly massage treatments to help me with stress, anxiety and injury.
My regular sessions really helped me feel more at ease and better able to handle a busy and stressful work life.
After a back injury, triggered by a fairly aggressive sneezing fit (wtf?), I turned to massage once again to help my recovery.
During this time I fell in love with anatomy, physiology and all things massage.
It was then I decided to train as a massage therapist.
In 2018, I trained with the reputable Western School of Massage. 18 months later I was a qualified massage therapist.
Following a redundancy from my corporate job, I decided to dive head first into a career change and set up my own business.
This was equal parts terrifying and exciting!
The fact that I’m now a therapist in the clinic where it all began for me is a dream come true!
Making the decision to train as a massage therapist has changed my life and taken it in a whole new direction. It's been an incredible journey so far!

I love to get away from the city and go climb up some hills. I'm not a Munro bagger as such, in fact I've only climbed two Munros!
Anything with a good trail, a hill and a pint of Guinness at the end is a good day out for me.
I also love to read. I find it a great way to relax after a busy working day. My go to genres are fantasy and horror. And a classic whodunnit from time to time.
See you in the treatment room!
